Local Coalitions
To establish at least 10 "zero tolerance coalitions"
in the county by 2005. Due to the tremendous support and hard
work of the community and many professionals we were able to
establish ten local community coalitions covering every part
of the county by 1997, well ahead of the proposed 2005.
EDUCATION AND ANTI DRUG PROMOTIONS
Schools within each coalition location published
a "Please Talk to your Kids" Public Service Announcement
video.
Public billboards posted anti-drug messages in
St. Clair Shores.
Talking Tobacco and Smoke Scream presentations
offered to 4th, 5th and 6th grade students.
